Case study · Hospitality · Gulf Shores, Alabama
One day. A season’s worth of content.
A beachfront hotel inside a state park, with four restaurants, pools that face the Gulf, and a pier at the end of the sand. We spent a day there capturing it from first light to blue hour, then edited the set so it was ready to use.

The opportunity
A property that changes by the hour.
The Lodge has a lot to show: dining decks on the dunes, a fitness center, lounges with views of the water, and a stretch of beach most hotels can’t match. And it looks like a different place at noon than it does after sunset.
That gives a marketing team plenty of stories to tell, and a steady need for fresh, usable content to tell them with.
The approach
Follow the light. Shoot for a purpose.
No shot list from a client and no crew. Just a camera and a plan to capture the property the way a guest experiences it over a full day.
Every frame was taken with a place in mind: a wide shot with room for a headline, a square for the feed, a vertical for Stories. Capture it once, then put it to work in more ways.

Blue hour
The shots a guest remembers.
The twenty minutes after sunset did the most work. Warm pool lights against a deep blue sky give the resort a look that reads as calm and premium, without heavy editing.

In motion
Four films, ready for Reels.
Short vertical edits, each built around one part of the day. All 9:16, ready to post to Reels, TikTok, and Stories.

0:21What we delivered
Organized by where it goes.
Instead of a folder of images sorted by location, the set is grouped by how a marketing team would use it, so the question “where do I put this?” already has an answer.

Delivery
Quick delivery. Organized with a plan.
No digging through a camera roll. The edited photos and films arrive sorted by where they will be used, with a month-long social plan so every file already has a post waiting for it.

Capture it once. Put it to work in more ways.
One day produced enough material for a website refresh, a month of planned posts with captions, and a set of ready-to-post Reels, all in a consistent look.
